We are part of the Microsoft Partners Alliance in Portugal

Microsoft announced, during its worldwide partner conference “Inspire 2021”, the Microsoft Partner Alliance in Portugal. The initiative aims to ensure that everyone has the right skills and opportunities to keep creating diverse environments, prioritizing sustainability in business decisions and developing responsible and ethical technologies.

We want to build a better future today!

BOLD, as a company committed to this topic, could not fail to be part of this initiative that has 30 partners and more than 20 thousand people who came together to contribute to a more sustainable future for Portugal.

The Pillars that hold this initiative together are in line with the strategy and values of BOLD, Microsoft and its partners:

     • Digital Skills: raise awareness for digital skills initiatives to support our country in preparing for the challenges of the future and take advantage of its opportunities, empowering partners with new skills and promoting initiatives with organizations

     • Ethical and Responsible Artificial Intelligence: Adopt diverse perspectives, learn continuously and be agile in our response as technology develops, putting People First. In order to develop and implement Artificial Intelligence responsibly, partners are offered the Microsoft AI Design Principles.

     • Diversity and Inclusion: Improve the diversity of the technological workforce in Portugal and increase inclusion by building and implementing accessible solutions that empower all people. Adoption of inclusive processes, recruitment and promotion practices and the fight against racial inequality are some of the valued principles.

     • Sustainability: Technology has the power to help protect our planet and Microsoft is helping its partners and customers to reduce their carbon footprint, in line with its global commitments – to be carbon negative by 2030, plus removing all the carbon it emits since 1975 and participating in the $10 billion Climate Innovation Fund.

Joana Salvado, our Microsoft Partnership Manager, wrote a blog post about this pledge and how technology can contribute to sustainability and you can read all about it here!
